CSwell 600
Culture Dishes for Rapid and Simple Preparation of 3D Cell Spheres (Embryoid Bodies, Organoids)
Product Description
In vitro construction of 3D tissues and cells of specific types is crucial in life sciences and biomedicine. CSwell 600, a specialized miniature culture chamber, is designed for preparing 3D cell spheres and enables the in vitro construction of stem cell-derived embryoid bodies and various organoids. It features a standard array of micropores, facilitating high-throughput production of uniformly sized 3D cell spheres. The size of the cell spheres can be flexibly controlled by adjusting the cell concentration to meet different organoid construction needs.
Note: This product is suitable for 3D cultivation of most stem cells and tumor cells. For highly adhesive cells, it should be used in conjunction with a low-adhesion surface modification solution.
Cat. # | Name | Size |

It can be stored at room temperature (15 - 25°C) and has a shelf life of 12 months.
The Cell Quantity Required for the Preparation of 3D Cell Spheres
The cell seeding quantity required for each CSwell 600 = the number of cells expected to form cell spheres × 580
Expected No. of cells in each micropore | Corresponding cell seeding suspension concentration (cells/ml) |
50 | 2.9×104 |
100 | 5.8×104 |
200 | 1.16×105 |
500 | 2.9×105 |
1000 | 5.8×105 |
2000 | 1.16×106 |
5000 | 2.9×106 |
10000 | 5.8×106 |
This product recommends that the number of cells per micropore be within the range of 100 - 10,000 cells.
The volume of the inoculated cell suspension for each CSwell 600 culture chamber is 1 ml.
Note: When preparing the cell suspension, try to avoid the multi-step dilution method to ensure the accuracy of the cell concentration.
